A Perfect Addition to A Kitchen by: Chris Maile from: Calabasas, CA on: May 4, 2015
We spent a lot of time looking in stores and on the web for an island that would be right for a bay window area in our kitchen.
It is always a little scary purchasing a piece of furniture based on a picture and description on a website. This island is wonderful. Solid as a rock, the perfect size, and looks fantastic. We couldn't be happier with our choice.
Assembly is not hard if you take your time. But you will definitely need a strong assistant to get it upright. It is quite heavy.

This is a substantial piece of furniture. It is well crafted and very lovely. No comparison to the wobbly less expensive islands found in the box stores.
Love the look but the finish makes it impractical by: Mark Christine from: Norwalk, CT on: July 15, 2009
This workstation looks great in my kitchen but the finish on the surface makes it impractical. The instructions state that you should not get the surface wet. I can't imagine working in a kitchen and not getting the work surface wet. I wish I had done the research before getting a butcher block. In hind sight I would rather a workstation with a counter top surface that can get wet.
